Somnambulism Stories

"With every night, she got closer to the edge." (I wrote this short story in reference to the topic of making decisions in your life) Honestly, I don't really know what that story is about. It is just a short story I came up with and that I wanted to share. English is no t my first language, so I hope there are not too many mistakes. Feel free to point them out, so I can improve my english skills.

Solliès-Pont, France, 1865. In the suffocating heat of a Provencal summer, a shadow falls across the garden of the Leblanc family. Timothée Castellan, a traveling "magnetizer," promises a miracle cure for Josephine's nervous ailments. But as his hands weave patterns in the air, the cure becomes a curse. Witnessed through the terrified eyes of those who knew her-her sister Marie, the village blacksmith, and a local priest-Josephine begins to disappear. She is no longer a daughter or a sister; she is a Somnambulist, a living statue bound by an invisible leash. Under the "Silver Fog" of Castellan's voice, she is forced into a journey of hollow obedience, her body stripped of its will and her mind locked in a cage of silence. As the village watches in horror, Josephine is dragged across the countryside, a prisoner of a "Dead Strength" that defies nature. It will take a landmark trial and the cold lens of science to prove that a crime has been committed-not with a blade, but with a snap of the fingers. "The Silent Puppet" is a haunting true-crime reimagining of the trial that forced the world to recognize the terror of a stolen soul.

A guy dealing with chronic headache and somnambulism. A weird story for those who cant sleep at nights.

A teenage girl with a rare medical condition seeks the help of a specialist doctor. The veil between reality and reverie evanesces as she sinks deeper into the clutches of an ethereal abyss. My novella is complete!! I am doing final editing, but by all means dive in! I won't keep you long. I've added a postscript about the true story that inspired the book as a bonus for all my faithful readers.
