In a twilight-lit world, a brilliant young girl rises with a mind ablaze and a spirit unshaken. Mocked and labeled a "witch" for her intellect and strength... She endures whispers, envy, and cruelty. But instead of breaking, she transforms every insult into a stepping stone, building her own path to greatness. What my heart tells me... Presenting to you a mixture of long, short, hopeful, dreamy, sad, but most importantly, raw and real words. I hope they impress, I hope you enjoy, and above all, I hope they speak to you. After all some words are much more powerful in verse. Note: If you came looking for short, 5 or 6 line poems, you might be disappointed. However, if you still venture on, I hope I'll be able to trap you in. :) (Update every week!!)

The words sat heavy in the air, spinning themselves into intricate webs. Webs designed to trap me. Designed to tangle me up irreversibly with even the smallest of my imperfections. I've never been perfect, and I know now that the lack of perfection I hold will be the one thing to get me tangled beyond the possibilities of return. The webs of endless words are stuck so tightly together that I can barely make out my argument hidden within. So tightly that I can barely see anything but the endless valleys of arguments designed to stop me from turning anywhere but back. And then the webs part to reveal a path into the mist. Another option, at last. I place my hand in hers. I can finally breathe again.
