No One Taught Me How to Live
By Luis Cornea
I was raised between cold walls and forgotten birthdays.
No mother to hold me, no father to guide me.
Just my brother, my sister... and then, silence.
She was adopted.
He stayed with me.
I stayed behind, smoking my pain away, looking for light in places full of shadows.
Now I'm in Germany, with no papers, no future.
Only love. A love most people won't understand - but it's real.
He's the only one who sees me. Truly sees me.
This is not a love story.
This is survival.
This is me, screaming quietly into the world:
"Help me. Before it's too late."
