(Game of Thrones Alternate Universe Fanfiction.) When his mother Lyanna died in childbirth, Jon, also known by his Targaryen name Aegon, is raised by his father Rhaegar. Even though Jon is a Targaryen by blood, many people do not believe this, since he looks more like a Stark from his mother's side. Because of this, many people taunt the young prince, calling him a low born and a false prince. Upset and in the middle of a war, he runs off, many believing he had perished during the cold winter. That is, until he comes back, swearing to take what is his with fire and blood. (Side note: in this universe, Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen are both deceased, both killed by Robert Baratheon after he learned about the death of Lyanna. Rhaegar survived the battle at the Trident, slaying Robert in retaliation for his sibling's deaths, and raises Jon at the Red Keep.)
