It is now 3047 and Ayla is attending her fourth year of the Spartans training school, when she learns that she has a family outside the Compound. Curious as ever, she uses her clever mind to figure out the technology in the Compound with the help of a friend. What they find may be the death of them and their families. Do they stay and act like they never saw it? Or do they run from the Compound to find their families and flee?
