Ryoko Asakura gets a new summer job at Haruhi Suzumiya's Pizza, an animatronic restaurant where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! Unfortunately, she isn't here during the day. She has been assigned the nightshift, where she is tasked to watch over the place and make sure no one breaks in and nothing gets tampered with or stolen during nighttime. However, there is something more to the job that Ryoko wasn't warned about... The main attractions are animatronic counterparts of Haruhi Suzumiya and her SOS Brigade. During the day, they stick to the status quo and are programmed to please the crowds, but at the dead of night, they roam the halls of the pizzeria, lead by Haruhi to search for new members for the group. That wouldn't sound bad...if it wasn't for the fact that they would stuff the guard into an animatronic suit. Can Ryoko Asakura overcome the horrors and fears and survive Five Nights at Haruhi's?

I decided to make a fanfic of an anime I watched a few months ago. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya was an awesome anime which I loved and still do, but the ending always bugged me. I'm a big Haruhi X Kyon shipper, therefore I decided to make fanfiction. The story starts 3 months after The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. NO oc (own characters) or ooc (out of character). I want to stick to their true character, like Haruhi being bossy, Kyon annoyed by her and Koizumi, Koizumi looking at Kyon with creepy smile asf, Asahina obeying Haruhi while dressed in some costume and , of course, Nagato being all quiet while reading her book. I think you didn't need an explanation, did you? Unless you didn't watch the anime?! If so, I order you to do so! And don't skip endless 8. You'll know when you see it. I thought the older one was way too fanservicey, so I thought, hey, why not give this old fella a shot? I rewrote some of the older chapters already, but I think I published way too much of them to revamp the whole thing so I went ahead and made a separate story for it. Hope you don't mind.

This will be written as one of the light novels, like it was another story. In a revelation of sorts, Haruhi Suzumiya realizes that there's something wrong. Nothing ever goes the way she wants it to, and she starts to her understandably upset. Haruhi starts acting even more eccentric than usual which results in her erratic decision making and ideas. In this melancholy story, read on as Haruhi develops further relationships with the other club members and works her hardest to live a life that's anything but ordinary in this fanfiction-continuation of the series.

After the world returns back to normal, Yuki has started becoming more and more like a regular human girl, and Kyon has noticed the changes. When Haruhi comes up with the idea of writing a manga as the SOS Brigade, Yuki ends up tasked with script duty. Since human feelings are a foreign subject to her, Kyon helps her understand human emotions, but she ends up discovering feelings she never thought she would.

Love is floating around the campus and the members of the SOS Brigade begin to catch feelings for each other. Suddenly, Kyon accidentally wishes Haruhi to be different after being fed up with all of her ideas for the SOS Brigade.
