"One doesn't simply throw away one's soul without consequences. For the soul is the very culmination of a human being, every thought, every memory, every emotion is contained in one's soul. Once it is left behind, there is only the faintest imprint of emotion, yes the person will keep their memories but their will be no happiness, no sadness, no feeling retained from those memories, for that is kept in the soul. And the body hurts when the soul hurts. And there are consequences." ___________________________________________ Emma Smith a very ordinary name for a very unordinary girl in a wholly unordinary world. On the night of her fifteenth birthday her house goes up in flames. The firefighters can only hold her back as she watches her family burn to death inside their house. Desperately trying to just stop the pain she throws her soul down a mountain, little does she know by doing so she releases a whole new world of problems.

On her way home from school on a regular Friday afternoon, eighteen year old Mychal gets trapped in an alternate universe. In this universe, humans are separated into tribes with different powers. With the help of Rusty, a crimson-colored human who can distort reality, Mychal must find a way home while stopping a megalomaniac queen from massacring everyone in a pursuit of power. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is my first story, so don't expect it to be perfect. The main inspiration for this story was Undertale, so if you see some parallels, don't be too surprised. Also, the cover was made by amateur me using photoshop. Hope you enjoy.

This has slight inspirations from, Undertale, Star vs The Forces of Evil, My Little Pony, and the Owl House!! This has been a story I've been developing in my own head since 2016, and I'm finally glad I'm beginning to write it all down!

In the Deep Dark, in lush and dark-stoned caverns and old ruins to creatures unknown, a human has awakened into the world in the dark, alone, and knows little of the world than he would like. Perulen learns that from the darkness, that there is a world above him from a strange someone that reflects himself. And he wants to see it, and the light with it. However, there is danger reaching the surface, and many monsters will cross his path upward. From the Warden that roams the great and dark cavernous ruins of an old civilization, to the hordes of spiders within the mines and various undead that wander, Perulen must survive against all the odds and reach his freedom.
