This story is set in the North Pole, the humble abode of the one and only Santa Claus. For him, Christmas is a very exciting, but stressful time of year. Lots of presents must be wrapped and delivered to children on time! But this year, everything is a bit different.

Miss Darling had not once gotten courted in her life, even as a teenager and even now as a young woman working under the guidance of her grandmother at their little coffee shop downtown. She thought her life would forever be set to being alone with no one to cherish or protect, that is until a new gentleman came into town for work. Their paths cross many times under the roof of her little coffee shop until love bloomed between the two fortunate adults who never thought cupid would shoot her arrows at those two.

The realm of Saldar barely ever experiences summer. Some may think this is strange, for all places have seasons and summer is one of them. Yet, this place is stuck in an everlasting winter and unable to escape from it. Saldar is held captive by Elavier, an ice controlling shape-shifter with a thirst for power. No single person has the ability to stop Elavier - not if they're alone. What happens when the two people who have the ability to end this madness that is killing off the inhabitants of Saldar have no idea that the other exists?
