Many of us hide from things; these things haunt us for life. Our pasts scares us. We get hurt because we're naive enough to think that we're different from the rest. ---------- A lot of things scares me. My nightmares and my past are two of these things. Getting close to people is something I try to avoid. I wear a mask in front of me so these people can not break me. I have been hurt plenty of times, and from that; I learnt that getting close to people will only get you into trouble. You'll care for them, but will they do the same for you? Of course not. We live in a world where people wouldn't care who they hurt as long as they get what they want. I have a past that haunts me everyday. I hide behind my mask so no one can ever break me again. I won't let them break me again.

This was her game. The only one she could play, win and loose all at the same time. She was an expert in the highest ranks, the skill of manipulation and trickery her forte. This was no longer a game. It was her survival.
