Beneath the iron rule of Woundwort's Efrafa, a lone rabbit kit bears a pale crescent of fur like a moonlit promise. Discovered by the young patrol soldier Campion, she is named Spark-and her quiet endurance will ignite a legend. Under the shadow of tyranny, Spark learns to forage, to listen, and to stand her ground. When a fox attack forges her courage into flame, even the bitterest Efrafan cannot dismiss her bravery. Whispers of escape stir hope among the enslaved. Spark seizes her chance for freedom and stumbles into the gentle winds of Watership Down. There, she earns the trust of Hazel, Bigwig, and Fiver-and wins Campion's secret devotion. But peace is fragile. When Efrafa's forces thunder over the ridge, Spark and Campion must choose between loyalty and love. In the clash of rock and resolve, one question remains: can a single spark withstand the darkest storm? From the dust of war to the renewal of spring, Spark's journey is a testament to sacrifice, survival, and rebirth. On Watership Down, she finds home-and her flame lights the way for generations to come.
