Dearest Reader, This is a short book about Swedish lore and such, I was inspired by a lovely horror game I played called Year Walk. I greatly suggest you play it, it is very interesting! After I played it, I decided to take on some of the folklore, explaining it in much detail as possible and where it came from. I wish to explore more about Year Walking as much as I can. This knowledge will be recorded in this book. Some of these stories are not for the faint-hearted, you have been warned. With the greatest regards, Eudora Garner

This novel takes place in the 80's and shares the tradition of YearWalking. It is to be done at 12 am on New Year's Eve and before that, you are supposed to lock yourself in a dark room and not eat or drink anything for that whole day. YearWalking is supposed to let you see the future. This novel is about someone named Sam who is in an abusive relationship and goes through the feelings, self-doubt, guilt, and relief throughout the book. Especially since their abuser is very sick. Throughout the book, every character except for animals and parents have they/them pronouns so the reader can choose who the characters are especially within their experience.

**WARNING: Some of the characters actions may be too violent for some to handle (stabbing, yelling, murder). If you are not able to handle these things please do not read. For those who do read, I hope you enjoy** Mio is just a girl. Her parents are South Korean. What happens when she messes with a forgotten Swedish tradition?
