When the outside world tells you what you should be, how can you be the best version of yourself? Lance is one of many who experience the severe effects of modern civilization's uniformity. We occasionally overlook the truth that we evolve as we work to overcome obstacles. If anything improves from good to better or best, you are lucky. What if things went from good to terrible and then worse? like Lance's current situation.

My name is Luminia Spera L. Panganiban. I am a Political Science student at Ateneo de Manila. Some say I am brilliant, with the sharp mind of a lawyer, but honestly, I feel talentless in many ways. I come from a family of lawyers, but instead of warmth, I grew up in a home filled with coldness, manipulation, and abuse. My parents never showed me love or care. I learned early on not to expect kindness from them, so I built walls around my heart and became cold and distant. I don't believe in love or marriage. How could I, when I have never truly felt love myself? Recently, I transferred to West Mindanao State University, hoping for a fresh start. That's where I met Eros Foster Felix Regala. A troublemaker with a happy-go-lucky spirit. He may not have the highest IQ, but his carefree attitude and boldness drew attention wherever he went. Unlike anyone I've known, Eros could be the spark that changes everything in my life. But will he be? Or will he become just another dosage of unhappiness, like my parents?
