After hearing horrible news that could change her life forever, Vada does the only thing she knows possible and plans a trip with her best friend/ twin brother. For his benefit of course.
    
       Vada acquires a Polaroid camera at a local thrift store, so she can capture all the moments in which her and her brother Eli deem special.
    
      She meets Echo Thomas a boy who's tired of the same old town and the same old people. So after much consideration hitches a ride with the twins who share a secret and the trio sets off on an adventure of a life time.
