15 year old Jalayah goes through a rough struggling time with her twin brother Jackson and her oldest, Jr. Jr is the biggest drug dealer in downtown New Orleans and one of the rich boys from uptown New Orleans get killed, which starts a "war" between uptown and downtown. Instead of Jackson getting into all of the drama, he focus on his upcoming football career. Jalayah ends up going behind her older brothers back and finds her true love
