Charlie McLean is depressed. After her twin brother dies, and her life is turned upside down, she finds herself being the only person to blame. Then, out of the blue, she gets the opportunity to escape it all and she leaves to start a new expensive group therapy in Seattle, thanks to her dad. There, she realizes she isn't alone. There are others there who have the same problems, but none make a connection with her quite like Jase Peters. His recovery from depression becomes and inspiration for Charlie, and while trying to help herself, she finds herself falling head over heels for him. But will Charlie's lack of hope get in the way of their love, or will she be able to let herself believe that for once, it will all work out?
