There the building stood, along with 2 dorm buildings - One for Females, the other Males. The school sign was right along side them, reading LANEWOOD ACADEMY BOARDING SCHOOL. The campus was simple; the 2 dorms stood just in front of the towering forest behind them, which then led to the LONG ISLAND SOUND BEACH on the other side of the forest. Across the luscious green grass from the dorms stood the main building where all the classes were located. The 3 buildings made a circle, in the middle of the green was a fountain with flower bushes of all types. Some people already had a nickname for the academy - the school of the strange. The students there, well.. some were rather.. odd. And some students this year realize they are some of them when they find who they are... Demigods, mortals being a son or daughter of a Greek or Roman god or goddess. Are you one of those rare few?

--- The morning sun shimmered through the high crystal windows of Aethermere Academy, scattering golden light across the marble halls. The students bustled with excitement-new robes, new spells, new beginnings. Eli adjusted his satchel as he and Kael climbed the spiraling stairs toward their classroom. The air smelled of ink, books, and a faint trace of magic dust from the first-years below learning their beginner charms. "Back again," Kael said, grinning. "Feels like we never left." Eli smiled faintly. "Yeah... but it feels different this time. Heavier." As they reached their classroom, Nia waved them over, her arms full of scrolls. "You guys! The Headmistress posted our first mission schedule-something about the Wailing Woods." Before Eli could reply, a faint blue shimmer appeared on his desk. A sealed envelope-old parchment, edges glowing with faint silver runes. Everyone went silent as Eli reached for it. The wax seal bore a crescent moon entwined with ivy-the mark his mother used when writing spell formulas. > "Eli Rainblood," the letter whispered softly, as if alive. "If you're reading this... then the veil between our worlds is weakening." Eli's heartbeat quickened. Kael leaned closer. "Is that-" "My mother's mark," Eli murmured, voice shaking. He broke the seal. A faint blue mist swirled from the letter, forming an image of a woman-his mother. Her expression was both warm and urgent. > "Eli," she said gently, her voice echoing like wind through trees. "If you wish to uncover the truth about our family... you must seek the Eclipse Vault beneath the academy. But beware-someone already knows you will try." The vision faded, leaving behind only the scent of wild rain. The classroom buzzed with whispers, but Eli could barely hear them. Kael, Nia, and Rowan exchanged glances-because deep down, they all knew... this year wasn't going to be like the last. ---
