Esperansa has always admired the way the volleyball team worked together, even in perfect synchronization, the way they put so much effort into their skills and train non-stop. She admired them for their determination, adaptability and sportsmanship.

When one of the players is expelled because of her delinquency, Esperansa decides to volunteer for the team.
