Whilst the death of a local politician is being investigated, a sadistic schizophrenia suffer, Lucinda Jackson, uncovers a legend about a supernaturally cursed, mirror circulating throughout the mental asylum. As soon as anyone uses the mirror, he or she has exactly 30 days to live. The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look transparent. A marked person feels like cold stone to touch. Lucinda gets hold of the mirror, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: the last person to have used the mirror, an old newspaper headline about a drowning incident, and the events leading to the death of the politician. When Lucinda notices her fingers developing burn-like properties, she realises that the curse of the mirror is true and calls in her boyfriend, a cunning paramedic, Tyler Bennett, to help. Tyler examines the mirror and willingly submits himself to the curse. He finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. He finds the old newspaper headline about a drowning incident particularly chilling. He joins the queue for a supernatural death. Lucinda and Tyler pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the politician's body. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
