Vincent West, is a depressed teenager, with his loving though always absent family, he was super lonely, he was bullied a lot at school, even though he was smart and talented person, his life was like that for at least half his life until that moment in high school where he meets Christine Work, an enigmatic girl who was secretly the same as him, depressed but her condition was much worse, she self-harms herself whenever she's reminded of her mysterious past which she never talks about, she's a closed book but she opens up to him, he understands her and her condition, he agrees to be her knight.
But with the knight beside his queen, will he be her king?
