The Revolver and the Rose

Alyx Sawyer is overwhelmed. Twelve brothers, her father's mafia debt, and another protective addition to the family. Being the only girl left in the family of fourteen, Alyx is left to her own devices. Her ride to and from school is another brother each day, basically her hand is being held all day, every day. Her father's mafia is also in on the Alyx Protection Program, a name given by her eldest brother Dimitri. Needless to say, Alyx is stuck in the same old endless cycle.

Grant Reynolds is a rhetorical, pretentious, assertive asshole who doesn't know when to stop asking questions. Along with his asshole-like qualities, he's also a bodyguard with a past. His dark brown hair and angry, piercing grey eyes get most of the answers he needs. Brute force is part of the job, but hardly necessary.

Alyx is overwhelmed, Grant is overwhelming. How could this partnership turn out?
