Finding Light In The Darkness
Undeveloped polaroids-Unspoken words-Untouch hearts-unmarked maps-unclear message is path to a broken soul. You maybe know me by name but you don't know me that much. I don't know my self either. Sometimes I wonder who I am...well most times. I've become so accustomed wearing a mask around different people and faking a smile with so much pain...that i even ask myself: who? Am? I? Settling in the Dust
This is a collection of poems. All the threads of emotions I've dealt with sewn into one book. What was not initially posted in my Facebook page was published here. It was first read here. I believe it's a safe space. I go by the pen name Alethia Ivory. I'm a college student and an aspiring writer. There are lots of stories I want to bring into reality but for now, this is all I could do. My novels have been in the bottom drawer for years but once they come out in the open, you'd be the first to hear! :) You can read this book as it is numbered and you'd know why I wanted people to stop drowning in my thoughts.
