Amber Avery grew up in a strange household. There wasn't really any other way to describe it. Her mother was a very odd person with many secrets, and her dad wasn't somebody she knew anything about. Her Uncle Remus was never around, and as far as she knew he was the only other family she had still around. So when Remus Lupin came to her doorstep with a grin and a letter, Amber's life was turned awry when she learned she took after her mother and was a witch. Follow her as she goes through Hogwarts, mildly confused about the things happening around her, seeing as they are basically the same things her mother told her in her nighttime stories. Is her mom just really good at telling stories? Or is there something deeper going on?
