A young teenage boy was born into a wealthy family who owns a Kristal mining corporation. Kristal is, as the name applies, a crystal that has many uses such as heating, cooling, or for fighting tactics, used as an alternative for magic. The boy was taught ways that will please his father that will grant him the ownership of the companies. Everywhere he looks, he sees the harm his family causes: families losing their jobs, the employees who are forced to risk their lives to mine the mineral for very little wages, racial discrimination for the mining employees. One day, when the boy is sixteen years old, he met an another boy who is seventeen years old who lost both his parents in a mining accident ten years ago. The rich boy will find love but will be forced to give it up once he will be leaving to dream of becoming a Huntsman.
