Rei Wilkins is always looking for adventure but one day whilst roaming the woods of an abandoned mansion she meets the spirit of a boy who was cursed in a bind with a tree. The only way to free him is a single touch but Rei is too curious to let him go that easily.

She makes a deal with him instead that in two months he has to convince her that he wasn't trapped for a good reason. But with the witch who put him under the curse still around and Rei's hidden past, both of them create a tight bond to protect the other and sometimes falling in love makes things even more complicated.
