By age 16 Eleanor Brooks had everything she ever wanted; a position dancing with American Ballet Theater. That is until she falls and tears both the meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament of her right knee. Seeing her as liability, the American Ballet Theatre fires her. To stay close to dancing while her knee heals, Eleanor takes a ballet teaching job with an entertainment company in Seoul. While there she becomes entranced with the lyrical and contemporary dance teacher Park Jimin. As she grows closer to him she must decide: Is her heart with dancing or is her heart with Jimin?
