When she receives a letter to a selective academy, Aria Hart is more than happy to throw her perfect life of fame and fortune away, and for good reason. But when things take a turn for the worst, she realizes that the once safe-haven that she and her new friends had been accepted into has been built around lies- making Ari wonder if she is being involved in what could turn into the most deadliest mistake the world has ever seen... And a group of runaway experiments are the only ones with a will to stop it. I mean, as Ari put it herself, "What could possibly go wrong?"

This is a project I have been working incredibly hard on for a long time, and there it just a few things I want to say before you read-
~ The cover art is temporary right now, as I haven't had time to create the genuine one yet.
~ Not all characters(but a whole lot of them) are made by me. A few of them were created by my friends, and one of my very favorites was actually created by someone very important and special to me. I'll be sure to tag her when the time comes, but I'll definitely be sure to point out the others.
~ This is still in editing, and despite the fact that I have many more books planned after this one, I didn't correlate things correctly, meaning that I have to add and delete things so I can get it as smooth of a storyline as possible. So bare with me for slow updates, I'm doing my best lol.
~ I'm also open to constructive criticism, I just ask that y'all be nice about it (which I have no doubt about). Feel free to comment or to message me about anything, and I'm totally down to talk if you're just bored or need someone to talk to.

Our perfect rainstorms
Because some people don't want to know anything AT ALL about the story before reading it, I'm just going to put this right here: [SPOILER ALERT] Have you ever met someone wonderful and amazing and you wanted to meet them so badly but you couldn't because they were two damn oceans away from you? Also yes I do realise that both of these names belong to actual real-life people you may have heard of. This was because our planet holds almost 8 billion people now, and I don't think there are any real names that DON'T belong to anyone. I promise I was not trying to steal these people's names, I was just trying to come up with character names that sounded realistic for the world. NOTE: This story contains injuries and illnesses. I have tried my best to make them as realistic as possible, even though they may not always actually be 100% accurate, as I need to change some things to fit the story better. It's not been an easy year. Not in the slightest. But things are slowly returning to some kind of fucked up normality I guess. Though even this is better than 8 months ago so I'll take the slight improvement. One other person's lapse of judgement has altered my life in way's I'll never really understand but this is my life now. I know I'll be okay. I have to be. 16 other people weren't okay. I was. By some chaotic otherworldly reasoning beyond my control, I'm okay. I'm ALIVE. Fucked in the head or not, I'm not letting it stop me. ~~~ Aria Clarke hasn't had the best year of her life. When one fateful night, she turns into an underpass and her car is dead center of a huge collision, killing everyone on sight but her. Almost a full year into her recovery, after spending 9 months being judged and tormented, swallowing pills to numb the effects, therapy appointments and learning to live her life with her new scars, she craves normality. After around ten years of making sure my neural system was intact, the metal surrounding me grew with my body and the batteries didn't poison my immune system, I was given the option of getting out of CARESS, also known as Centre of Adolescents in Rehab after the Effect of Scientific Surgery, and live a normal life. Usually, you get first person (writing from the main character's perspective, e.g. "I walked my dog...") Or you get third person limited (there's a narrator but the perspective is limited to a specific character for the entire story or chapter). My last story, Bartender in Charming was in third person limited, for example, with some sections in first person because I was awful about consistency. This story is written in third person omniscient, which basically means I'm going to be jumping around between characters perspectives at will and without labeling.
