Hunter "The Idiot" Stavro has always been a special kid. A genius if you will (though that never kept him away from sports). So when his sister gives him an empty journal for his sixteenth birthday, he does the natural thing: Writes in it for a whole year. But at the end of that 365 days when Hunter disappears, his best friends Jody and Cam are left with his journal, and thus begins their way to figure out what had happened to Hunter in the last year, and being catapulted into the world that they never knew existed. This genre is should be classified as Spiritual/Action because of it's two-toned nature. First is Hunter's journal, then is the experience Jody and Cam (and others) go through.

(Deal with this really bad cover please. It's temporary.) One night, Derek Garcia was having the night of his life. The next day, everything went to hell. The Deads- flesh eating monstrosities- cut him off from a safe zone and separated him from his friends. After the death of the only friend that he considered family, Derek manages to survive on his own for a while before meeting a girl named Star. From there, he's thrown into a new community with new people and his number one rule gets thrown out the window when new bonds are formed. These things....they're Dead But Not Gone.
