"-So try it" Grayson says suddenly to Brea.
"Try what?" Her eyebrow raises with intrigue.
"You said you can snap your fingers and turn your feelings off... like a light switch, you said, just like that?! So, fall in love with me and then one day...just... stop. and move on," Brea was taken aback by his words, thinking there's no way he was serious.
Unimpressed, she gets up to leave and laughs at him saying,"you're crazy."
But as she shakes her head, on her way to the door, he grabs her arm and says,"no, I'm serious, B. If you're telling the truth that you have great communication skills and don't get clingy or jealous, then what's the worst that could happen?"
She lets out nothing but honesty,"I never said I had great communication skills."
"It was implied. So what do you say?" He puts his hand out for her to shake and agree on the proposal.
She looks at it then joins his hand and asks,"how long?"
"A year," Grayson suggests easily. She disagrees which prompts him to ask her,"how long does it take you to say you love someone?"
Brea hesitates to answer, knowing she's never been in love before.
"Six months, take it or leave it," they agree.
With a confident smile on his face, Grayson promises Brea something, saying,"by the time this house is built, you'll be in love with me."
