Change Birds

Life for a change bird is hard. Curfews, cruelty, tough work orders. Messages have to go in and out every time the king says so. In this altered version of earth, change birds are the way to carry your letters, but this family of change birds has had enough.
Magpie is a young change bird with no real goals in life other than to protect his family, but when he carries a message from Swedyn to the royal castle of Scottlind, he meets someone who may just give him a goal…and a chance to help his family. Sarah, the youngest daughter of the king of Scottlind. Never in a million years did he expect to fall in love with such a beautiful princess.
This all may work out. He would have the love of his life and his father would finally be able to give his family the safe and secure home they need. They'd all live happily ever after. But how often does a happily ever after happen without a few complications?
