Superhumans have protected the world for the last hundred years. An era of unprecedented peace is disrupted when Jupiter, one of the oldest superheroes still alive, goes to the Moon and kills himself.

Nate and Leah Waid navigate the ins and outs of both the normal and superhuman world, settling in, trying to uphold their parents legacies (both mortal and divine) and the heroes who came before them. As time passes, however, it becomes clear that they are facing threats that dwarf the scale and destruction of everything else that came before. The human dream is ending, and it's up to a handful of individuals to figure out what comes next. But with an impending apocalypse on the horizon, is there any hope left at all?
