Ellen Casey has always had this fire inside of her. To fight. To survive. To help people. When she was 12 years old, her planet, Krypton, was destroyed. She was sent by an escape pod to Earth, where she was found by the Casey's. They raised her and helped her control her new abilities she gained from the Earth's yellow sun. Now that she's finished high school and 18 years old, she leaves the small town of Midvale and moves to Queens, New York.

Trying to keep her awesome powers a secret is hard. But, she hasn't been as subtle as she thought. One day, when Agent Maria Hill from SHIELD knocks on her door and tells her aliens are going to invade Earth, Ellen is all down for becoming a superhero.
