The Population Multiplication Act of '99

A year to the day after the fall of Voldemort and his minions the newly enacted Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, and the Wizengamot enact The Population Multiplication Act of 1999.

The newly enacted law states that all unmarried witches and wizard's between the ages of 17 and 27 will be partnered off with a ministry approved spouse and expected to bring no less than four children into the magical community within the first eight years of their marriage or else face the consequences of the ministry.

When Hermione Granger, war heroine and one of two surviving members of the Golden Trio, is pulled away from her newfound adventurous lifestyle of Dragon Taming alongside close friend Charlie Weasley and thrust into an arranged marriage with an internationally famous quidditch player four years her senior she thinks she might just end up starting another wizarding war... that is until she realizes that maybe she has more in common with her partner than either of them previously realized.
