When young Lydia Deetz is suddenly alone in the world with her mom now being dead, she is done with it all. Her dad makes her come down for a dinner party, when she has a breakdown, and something weird happens. It doesn't take long for Lydia and her dad to realize she has powers. 
    
       Her dad gets mad that she ruined things, and yells at her. Lydia wants to end things, but a unwelcome demon comes at the last moment to shake things up a bit
