The Book of Exodus (NIV)

After the death of Joseph, his Israelites were faced with really tough challenges; a test of their faith to God. The Pharaoh who was in charge of Egypt during the life of Joseph died shortly after and a new Pharaoh came into power. This new Pharaoh was cruel and had a very hardened heart. The Israelites did not find any favor in his eyes. The Israelites were made slaves until two men by the names of Moses and Aaron were born and decided to rise up with the LORD God and free their people from Egypt.
