The Goddess of Creation and Tha God of Destruction give gifts to every child in Pairs when they are born. These aren't gifts like toys or games no rather they are gifts that are part of their character, like a passion for justice, a strong protector, a caring soul things like that. All gifts are given a counterpart, a perfect match, someone who will complement them perfectly, their soulmate. Not every soulmate pair falls in love but most do.
The gifts are given for good, but some if not trained well by they're parents can be used for evil. Sometimes if a child has been trained for evil, their soulmate if willing can help reverse the training done by their parents.

Marinette and Adrien are given two of the most powerful and dangerous gifts. Adrien's father is a cold hard man and did not raise his son well, will Marinette be able to show Adrien the joy of his gift, when she hates her own? Can Adrien let his counterpart help him change to the man he should have been and not the man he has become?

In this AU there are no Supper Heros or Supper Villians. Adrien uses Chat as a persona to get some freedom and a date or two when his father is out of town. Marinette uses M'Lady as the name of her brand she is trying to create.
