As an outbreak sweeps through the animals of the city, people are worried about their own safety and health. Animals who are infected die, and those who aren't are often captured, and what happens to them... Who knows? What about those who are neither infected nor die? Well, they become feral and flee to the nearby forests. Jethro, the leader of his faction, must keep everyone together and safe. The animals must not only struggle to survive the outbreak, but they must survive the harsh realities of the wild as well. Tensions and temptations begin to grow stronger in the group, though, and the survival of everyone is on the line...

He was sent home due to the alleged endangerment of his fellow soldiers; however, this granted him some immunity. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. Becoming Them: A Zombie Novel
What would you do if one second you were struggling to survive with your friends and mother in tow, and then you wake up to find yourself with a group of strangers the next - all during the country's takeover of blood-thirsty zeds? Megan couldn't believe her eyes. Her brain was muddled with confusion she couldn't get rid of, no matter how many times those strangers reassured her and explained what happened. But she had to accept it, even though it didn't make any sense to her. Megan had been with her mother every step of the way since everything turned to chaos, beginning just a year before, and now she was nowhere to be seen. And on top of that, she had the zeds to deal with. Ghastly creatures that used to be human, carrying a virus that's spread through a constant hunger for flesh from the host, spreading through bites and scratches. It didn't exactly make it easy to prevent getting infected. Things could have been worse, though, Megan thought. She could've been left all alone to ponder over her thoughts and fear over the future. It'll only be within the time spent with the new group will she find out that everything's not as happy and welcoming as it had seemed. These people had a few secrets of their own, including the real reason they took Megan in. You died. I mean, it happened quite a bit during your lifetime. It wasn't anything different. However, instead of you waking up in the barracks again, you found yourself in a very odd place. A place where skin and fur were the same thing. "I hope I don't die too many times here." (Disclaimer: I don't own any of the artwork provided or Edge of Tomorrow, CoD AW, All you need is Kill, they belong to their respective owners. Human in a furry war but with a twist.
