Noah Keating and Tara Saunders are childhood sweethearts, living next door to each other. They made a promise to each other that they'll always be together for life.

One day, Tara and her family moves out of Australia and start a new life in America, leaving the two sweethearts lost contact with each other. 14 years later, Tara is now 18 and she returns to Australia for college.

There, she reunites with Noah, her long lost, childhood sweetheart and they reconnect. But as the college term is over, Tara knows that she's leaving Noah again and so, they made another promise to each other that they'll wait for each other until the next time they see each other again...
