In a medieval land lies the kingdom of Loretaire. It is surrounded by a ring of towns and woods with other kingdoms nearby. The king has four daughters. Catwing are thought to be legends until one is spotted in a nearby village. They are rare and intelligent creatures with the body of a panther and huge birdlike, feathered wings. They are proclaimed dangerous and ruthless killers. They have the ability to change from their human to Catwing forms at will. 

No one knows Aria is Catwing.... until she meets someone like her. A train of events unfold, leading from one difficult situation to the next. Will these two Catwing be able to survive against all odds? Or will they be hunted down and killed if their true selves are exposed?
