Written from the eyes of an unassuming NYC college student that tries to fly under the radar, Safiyah travels a new path in her "life", meeting some new friends along the way. Although she feels like it's just another regrettable day, she realizes quickly that everything she thought she knew about the world, her family and general morals are all wrong.

Safiyah and her crew embark on an emotional tour of trainwrecks and mind tricks all to find out that nothing is what they teach you when you are young. At this point it's about survival and keeping those close to you close.

"..... At that same moment, I don't know why, but I tried to get out of the way of the mass of warehouse men walking through me and I fell to the lower level screaming my head off. And just like that like in all the hot action movies, I stop myself within a centimeter of face planting on the concrete. My breath was intense and blowing the dirt up my face, but it didn't bother me.
Jebb clapped slowly and dauntingly. "Yah girl. Welcome to death!" ....."
