This is a story about a group of friends. They are really close, share a lot and go through a lot of stuff together. Nevertheless, they also have a lot of secrets for each other, without them knowing. Follow them figuring out these secrets, how to cope with them and how to cope with life. Because that sure can be hard sometimes.

Sail is inspired by my group of friends. It will feature some problems that we are dealing with in real life, but it will also include some made up scenarios to make this story a bit more interesting.

Sail is dedicated to my friends, because I love them all very much and I wouldn't choose any other group to go through life with.

I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book!
