Unpretentious

After crashing the Auriga on the east coast of South Africa, the Betty with its four survivors, Ripley, Call, Vriess and Johner on board, lands in a forest between Georgia and South Carolina. Call still has a gaping hole in her stomach, Vriess and Johner are just hard-teasing each other, and Ripley struggles with her DNA and some inherited memories.

So, this is my first attempt to translate one of my works in english. I first used a translation site, and then tried to correct some evident mistakes which I knew I would come into due to the grammar differences between my first language, (which is italian), and english. I still feel unsure about the translation, but I decided anyway to give it a try, since this story is a standalone and it's brief enough to me to put some effort on. So I'd appreciate very much to receive comments and suggestions about the grammar, as well as reviews about the story itself.
