After crashing the Auriga on the east coast of South Africa, the Betty with its four survivors, Ripley, Call, Vriess and Johner on board, lands in a forest between Georgia and South Carolina. Call still has a gaping hole in her stomach, Vriess and Johner are just hard-teasing each other, and Ripley struggles with her DNA and some inherited memories.

So, this is my first attempt to translate one of my works in english. I first used a translation site, and then tried to correct some evident mistakes which I knew I would come into due to the grammar differences between my first language, (which is italian), and english. I still feel unsure about the translation, but I decided anyway to give it a try, since this story is a standalone and it's brief enough to me to put some effort on. So I'd appreciate very much to receive comments and suggestions about the grammar, as well as reviews about the story itself.

The man stooped a bit, leaning close to her and taking the seatbelt from her hands. He was holding eye contact and Lyla felt herself grow amused as she stared back at him. He was going to start buckling her up before someone cleared their throat loudly. They both looked up to meet Reeds' blue-green eyes. ''I think I can help my wife, thank you,'' he said. Lyla's eyebrows shot up. The dude barely talked to her and he was already getting possessive? How does that even add up? Reeds stopped taking the two parts of the seat belt in his hands, ''you couldn't do this without help?'' he muttered to her savagely. Lyla glared at him, before he could even get the belt close to her she took it from his hands and snapped it in the right place. She gave him a sickly sweet smile and Reeds simply scoffed and walked to his seat. The rest of the plane ride was quiet. One would think after that small exchange they would start having some kind of conversation. Wrong. ___________________ This isn't a cliche story where the girl falls for the guy by a simply little gaze. She's stubborn, she's maybe a little relatable, and she's assertive. But she didn't think she was for him. Lyla Vell; the name itself oozed the confidence which was her, and Ryersoon Reeds? Two words to describe him: Arrogant and plain painful. And when these two personalities are in an arranged marriage. Shit about to go down. ___ This is my first Wattpad story. Hope you'll like it! This entire story is NOT mature. Only the last few chapters are and you can still finish the plot without reading those few mature chapters. For those who are hesitant to read the story because it is tagged mature, I'm promising you only the last few chapters are mature, you can read chapters 1-19 without any disturbance of smut.
