Carena Wen is trying to move on from the sudden passing of her father. Not knowing what to do, she has basically given up on trying to find a way to cope. With a sudden visit from a college friend, Bella Cullen, Carena is surprised with a ticket to Italy. Upon arriving in Volterra where the Cullens have booked Carena's hotel, she decides to visit the famous Castle of Volterra. However, a trip that was meant to be her escape from mourning seems to have been a set up. Marcus Volturi one of the three Volturi kings is mated to Carena.
