When Roman gets into a car accident he undergoes unexplained changes. Changes that his friend, April, understands but refuses to talk about.
However, when a group of police officers are murdered, the town is in a panic and enlists the help of the FBI to investigate.
Roman finds himself drawn into the investigation, not just by the murders but also by the lead detective, Makeda. However, a part of himself is hesitant of getting too close.
