Elsie is a normal teenager, or so it seems. She has a cute little brother, a crazy best friend, and none of her teachers like her. Normal, right? Wrong. Elsie lives at Newport Inmate Correctional Facility. Once a prison, it now serves to educate masses of children that are no longer allowed to be raised by their parents. This includes the son of the most ruthless king in the world.

Elsie writes journal pages to pass her time in this prison, but who knew someone would actually be reading them? Is it a secret that will get her killed, or one that will set her people free?
