They always warn you that change is inevitable. They always tell you that uncertainty is fleeting and that in life things are supposed to fall into place. Well, whoever they is referring to, probably has yet to encounter Céline Peterson. Even as a young girl Céline has always felt the need to have everything from her career goals to her pubertal development mapped out. First bike by five; first trophy by eleven, particularly in crew, something she had taken up early to prepare for college; first kiss by the age of fourteen, with a boy with experience, but not too much experience, and the painfully detailed list goes on. Of course things haven't always gone to plan along the way, but niave Céline always blamed that on the lack of control over her own life. She figured as long as her single father was still financing the roof over her head, dorm or not, she was yet to officially consider herself an adult in soceity and her life was simply still in the preparation process.Most people get completely trashed in celebration of their twenty-first birthday, but with as much of her book stacking money saved up and her "full college experience" stage out of the way, celebrating the big one-two would be nothing but a big move to a big city. Céline felt like she was finally ready to take on the world, and what better way to do that than to throw herself into the glory that is Chicago, Illinois. Well, maybe throw isn't quite the best adjective to describe Céline's vision of how she would apraoch this step in her life. More like... Conquer the city that is Chicago, Illinois. Yeah, that's more like it. Céline's high expectations and specific aspirations have always gotten her far in the past, but with life really starting to begin for the girl will she be able to handle what troubles may or may not lie ahead?
