(Cover and story are owned by me!) ~ In the land of Alandia, humans have dominated. Animal-like human hybrids, called Karavans, used to live in harmony among each other; until a whole colony of humans came and wiped out of the peaceful Karavans. The only species of Karavans left are the crafty Foxes, but they - because the humans don't trust their Fox Magic - are kept as slaves for the wealthy humans. At Terrence Wilfer's eighteenth birthday gathering, he is gifted with a young, personal servant, the Fox Adrelia. Her Fox Magic specializes in fire, and with it she is supposed to serve and protect Terrence with her life. But Adrelia is different from the other Foxes - she is stubborn and fiery, unlike the other submissive servants of the Wilfer household. Terrence takes an instant liking to her, but he notices that she has an angry distaste for humans. While Terrence tries to get closer to her, his father - the powerful Lord Drakon - senses Adrelia's rebellion. Against her will, Drakon "binds" her to Terrence, using an ancient spell only once performed by a powerful Fox Karavan. Feeling conflicted and responsible, Terrence goes against the books to free Adrelia from her curse. But will he be strong enough to face the pain that comes with it? And how will Adrelia respond?
