Meredith Quint was an Islander.
She'd given up the insanity of sharking to spend her days on the island. She'd tried everything to leave behind the storms and the riptides for steadier waters.
When a rogue great white terrorizes her sleepy island of Amity, Chief Brody asks Meredith for help. At the same time, Matt Hooper appears back in her life, asking questions that Meredith isn't sure she's ready to answer.
Before she knows it, she lands back out in the middle of the ocean on the Orca to put an end to the beast.
