Adelaide's life changed drastically after a tragic accident which left her haunted. She was not ready to trust or love anyone. When moving to Los Angeles, more specifically to University of Southern California, she never expected to find a boy in a similar situation as her.

Kieran is known as a trouble maker/bad boy at USC and with his past of alcohol and drug abuse and with his parents divorced, he seems to navigate life with no intentions of falling in love. When stumbling upon a girl who seems broken and damaged, he finds himself drawn to her.
