In the medieval Scottish Highlands, Agnes lives as a noble. But because of a superstition that red headed people are all witches, Agnes suffered throughout her whole life. And the main source of her abuse is her own parents. When she is suddenly married off to a stranger, she struggles to find out what her parents really have planned for her, all the while her new and mysterious husband seems oddly supportive of her. Not knowing who can be trusted and who is plotting her downfall, Agnes begins her journey to discovering the truth about her parents, her husband, and herself.
