The Crystals of Hope

Doldred threw her against the wall. "With these new element powers, I am immortal." He roared a horrible laugh, "you shall be given the same punishment for your attempt to defeat ME!" He wrapped her in the vines along with the others and stormed out.
The room was now almost pitch-black with only the light of the crystals to provide any indication of where they were. The water rising slowly up their ankles.
"Help! Anyone! Help!" Fay struggled in the vines. The water level had risen to their knees. "Help-"
"It's... no use" Erwin stumbled across his words. " the water... is rising... too... fast... It's too late." ...
